This is an expo-style event in which youth and families can talk with STEM professionals about innovative work happening with Sports and STEM. This event will be a Girls in STEM program in collaboration with the Chicago Sky, Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA).

Career stations invite youth and families to discover the following:

• What's innovative about their work or field

• STEM professionals journey into a STEM or Sports based career

• The connection between the real world and everyday life

Building Bridges, Inc. will feature our “Beverage Chemistry” STEM Program. This experiment uses sports beverages to understand how the effects of baking soda can alter pH and cause a color change.
