MSI Jr. Science Cafe

Volunteer With Us at MSI Jr. Science Café! Building Bridges, Inc. is excited to engage students in the world of science through the MSI Jr. Science Café! Volunteers will help create an engaging and supportive learning environment where students can explore STEM concepts, spark their curiosity, and discover how science connects to everyday life. Through interactive experiences and meaningful conversations, volunteers will encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and explore the possibilities of STEM education and careers.
Volunteer Duties:
Volunteers will support Building Bridges, Inc.’s participation in the MSI Jr. Science Café by helping facilitate an engaging and interactive STEM learning experience. They will assist with activities, engage with students, encourage curiosity and questions, and help foster a welcoming environment where students can explore scientific concepts, connect learning to real-world applications, and build confidence in STEM.
No STEM expertise is required! Just a willingness to engage, encourage, and inspire!
Fall Family STEM Night

Volunteer With Us at Fall Family STEM Night! Building Bridges, Inc. is excited to bring families together for an engaging evening of hands-on STEM exploration at the Southside STEM Station! Volunteers will help create a fun, welcoming, and interactive environment where participants of all ages can discover science, technology, engineering, and math through exciting activities. By assisting with demonstrations, engaging with families, and encouraging curiosity and participation, volunteers will help make STEM learning an enjoyable and meaningful experience for everyone.
Volunteer Duties:
Volunteers will support Building Bridges, Inc. during Fall Family STEM Night at the Southside STEM Station. They will help facilitate hands-on STEM activities, engage with families and participants of all ages, encourage exploration and participation, and contribute to a welcoming environment where everyone can discover science, technology, engineering, and math while fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence in STEM.
No STEM expertise is required! Just a willingness to engage, encourage, and inspire!
STEM Program w/ Grimes Middle School

Volunteer With Us at Grimes Middle School! Building Bridges, Inc. is bringing its hands-on Fruit DNA STEM Program to Grimes Middle School, where sixth-grade students will explore the fascinating world of genetics by extracting DNA from fruit. Volunteers will help facilitate the experiment, engage students in the learning process, encourage questions and scientific observation, and create a supportive environment where students can discover the science behind DNA while building curiosity, critical thinking, and confidence in STEM.
Volunteer Duties:
Volunteers will support Building Bridges, Inc. during Pfizer Career Day by engaging students in STEM career exploration, assisting with activities, and encouraging questions and participation. They will help inspire students to discover career opportunities in science, technology, and healthcare.
