Event: School Program with Affirm Leadership Christian Academy - Beverage Chemistry

Time: 1:00 PM-3:30 PM
Location: Affirm Leadership Christian Academy
Details: Volunteer with us as we interact with Affirm Leadership Christian Academy, a private ALL GIRLS innovative college- prep academy. This session will focus on using sports beverages to understand how the effects of baking soda can alter pH and cause a color change.
Volunteer Duties: Assist with breakdown and setup, provide guidance for STEM activity, replenish materials and supplies during the activity, assist Building Bridges, Inc team members as needed.
Event: Food Science Summer Camp
Date: August 5 - August 9, 2024
Time: 9AM-12PM AND 1PM-4PM
Location: Harper College
Details: Volunteer with us as we dive into food science with InZone Youth middle school students. For an entire week in August, students will gain exposure to food science through unique experimentation.
Volunteer Duties: Assist with breakdown and setup, provide guidance for STEM activity, help with instruction, replenish materials and supplies during the activity, assist Building Bridges, Inc team members as needed.
