Our STEM Programs
We accomplish our mission through STEM programming which features uniquely designed STEM experiments that relate to real world careers. Our STEM experiments represent science disciplines such as biology, chemistry, food science, engineering, and much more.
PROGRAM SPECIFICS
Although our mission highlights young girls, we also welcome young boys to participate. We don’t discriminate against gender nor race because we want all youth to experience what we have to offer. Most of our STEM programs can be offered either in-person or virtually. All programs are fixated at a base rate for per youth which includes materials and service fees (personal protective equipment, staff support, facilitation, & coordination). Most of our programs are suggested for grades 2nd-8th; however, we can alter any program to fit specific grades or ages. A minimum of 8 youth is required for requesting program services. A 3-week advance notice is also required to request our STEM program services. Requests can be made as a curriculum, individually, or exclusively tailored to your needs.
2025-2026 STEM CATALOG… WHAT’S NEW?
Our updated STEM programs now integrate project-based learning (PBL) to help students apply scientific concepts to real-world challenges. Through hands-on investigations and scenario-driven problem solving, students explore how science can impact their everyday lives and communities. This approach empowers learners to think critically, collaborate effectively, and envision themselves as scientists, engineers, and change-makers.
We also offer group mentorship and confidence building workshops. This dynamic offering provides small-group mentorship experiences designed to help students build self-confidence, strengthen their voice, and develop a strong sense of identity and purpose. Our vision board workshops are designed to help young girls dream boldly and visualize their futures with intention. Through guided reflection, creative expression, and group discussion, participants explore their personal goals, passions, and aspirations. These workshops build confidence, self-awareness, and goal-setting skills in a fun, supportive environment.
Building
Self-Awareness Through STEM
Our Building Self-Awareness Through STEM Curriculum shines light on issues that some youth may face, particularly young girls, regarding their appearance. This curriculum features four STEM experiments catered to skin and hair. Youth will learn the biology and chemistry involved in skincare and haircare products while making their very own to take home. This entire curriculum includes PBL.
Food Science
Our Food Science Curriculum gives students exposure to food through unique experimentation. This curriculum brings the wonders of STEM to the kitchen! Students will dive into hands-on activities like candy making, exploring fruit oxidation, beverage chemistry, and even extracting DNA from fruit.
Engineering
Our Engineering Curriculum offers hands-on STEM activities designed to inspire creativity and problem-solving in students. From building bridges and DIY STEM cars to exploring robotics, circuit engineering, and coding, our program provides students with the opportunity to engage in real-world engineering challenges.
Group Mentorship & Confidence Building
This dynamic offering provides small-group mentorship experiences designed to help students build self-confidence, strengthen their voice, and develop a strong sense of identity and purpose. Students engage in meaningful conversations, collaborative activities, and personal reflection.
Vision Board Workshops
Our Vision Board Workshops are designed to help young girls dream boldly and visualize their futures with intention. Through guided reflection, creative expression, and group discussion, participants explore their personal goals, passions, and aspirations. These workshops build confidence, self-awareness, and goal-setting skills in a fun, supportive environment where girls are encouraged to see themselves as future innovators, leaders, and changemakers.
