Fifth-grade students will investigate the science of food through our Fruit & Veggie Oxidation STEM Program. In this hands-on lesson, students will apply and observe the process of oxidation and explore how different solutions can slow down fruits and vegetables from turning brown.

Through experimentation and discussion, students will connect chemistry concepts to everyday life while strengthening curiosity, problem-solving skills, and confidence in STEM.
